The restaurant offers generous portions at affordable prices, with a menu featuring various Asian dishes and reasonably priced drinks, including happy hour cocktails. However, while the atmosphere and service receive consistent commendation, feedback on food quality is mixed, with some diners finding the flavors acceptable but lacking a distinctive or memorable taste. Overall, Salawaki is appreciated for its value and setting, with potential for culinary improvement.
The food and drinks are great, but nothing with “wow” factor. And it’s a nice spot to relax and spend an afternoon sunset.
We wish we found out about this place on our last day and we wish we came sooner! The location is stunning and it is such a great experience. For the price and location this is a must visit spot. We had the sweet and sour chicken and the pancit. The pancit was definitely the winner. Cocktails are 100 PHP at happy hour 4-7 PM and there’s a range of food for under 200 PHP.
Servings were generous for the price, we had to take out our leftovers. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, even if we weren't staying from their guest house. The sea view is perfect too, and you can lounge in front of the beach if you want.
The serving is good for the price. The other food on the menu are also not so expensive. The ambiance is very relaxed and cozy. One of the well designed restaurants in the island.
Service is top notch. Thanks to all of you friendly staff. They DO ACCEPT CREDIT CARD! kudos for that. Very charming next to the water Ambiance. Affordable pricing. At the Heart of san Juan not far from JJs.. but but I could leave it perfect but the soul of it all.. the taste for food is not there. It'a acceptable/okey But I won't say its delicious.. I ordered sweet and sour pork again the next day on a different resto just in case my pallete is messing up but no. All food serve is 6/10 in terms of texture and taste except for the soup maybe 8. And the fresh watermelons save the day. This has potential but needs cook/chef training badly.
